Gameplay-wise it contains three fully-fledged missions, set-in brand-new environments, and three shorter missions that serve as interludes between the big ones. Aiko’s choice is set sometime before the climactic final events of the first game, it expands upon the past of the teams resident kunoichi adept Aiko, and her relationship with her former sensei the cunning spymaster Lady Chiyo, the team’s most formidable enemy yet, help Aiko hunt down the ghosts of her past.

In the same style as the first game, you control an elite team of assassins but in this expansion, at first, you are only able to control three of them, Aiko, Hayato, and Mugen so you need to be more creative than usual to crack the first few missions but you will form all of them together again later in the game.
